A cyclist who is moved by the Dare2tri mission, Scott began his affiliation with Dare2tri in 2016 as a camp sponsor. Scott is the President of Ideal, a corrugated packaging and display producer based in Chicago, Illinois.  With facilities in Illinois, Ohio and California, Ideal is one of the largest independent display and packaging companies in the U.S.

Prior to joining ldeal in 2000, Scott served as Vice President of Corporate Development for Classified Ventures, a joint venture among the nation’s largest media companies that focuses on online classifieds.  Here, he was responsible for the company’s merger and acquisition strategy as well as governance of its newspaper affiliate network.  Prior to that, Scott spent five years as a corporate and securities lawyer, first at Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw and later at Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella.

Scott serves on the board of directors of Reverb.com, the largest online marketplace for music gear, and the board of advisors of United Displaycraft, a permanent display manufacturer. He is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization.
