We believe what you learn from challenging yourself physically carries over into confidence and success in life.Keri Serota, Co-Founder & Executive Director
Seeing the need for triathlon in the adaptive sport community and having a passion for the sport, Keri Serota, Dan Tun, and Melissa Stockwell banded together to start Dare2tri in 2011.
Beginning with only a handful of athletes, Dare2tri has impacted more lives and helped more athletes cross the finish line than ever imagined. Dare2tri wants to keep the momentum going and continue to inspire many more athletes far into the future.
Crossing the finish line is an extraordinary, emotional experience that builds confidence and creates a sense of self-worth that extends into all aspects of life. We believe the finish line is truly just the beginning.
The Dare2tri Board is a group of passionate individuals who want to make a difference by helping those with physical disabilities and visual impairments realize their potential through the sport of triathlon.
Board members provide vision and direction for Dare2tri that enables us to work with athletes with disabilities at every level to teach skills and support them in achieving their goals from the first-ever swim, bike or run, all the way up to the elite athletes who are standing atop podiums around the world.
Dare2tri is a vital source of support, inspiration, and transformation offering a growing number of individuals the opportunity to positively change the course of their life. Board members believe in Dare2tri’s mission and in the power of sports and its ability to influence and change the outcomes of one’s life.
