Fall Programs Set to Begin October 18

With summer coming to an end, we’re gearing up for a new season of fall fitness programming — from Adaptive Swimming to Wheelchair Racing Practice. Check out the weekly lineup below. All programs are FREE for individuals who have a physical disability or visual impairment.


In-Person Programs

Starting October 18

Functional Strength Training

In-person functional strength training held indoors at Fosco Park. Held in conjunction with Virtual Strength Training.

Where: Fosco Park
When: Tuesdays, 6-6:30 p.m.

Starting October 18

Adaptive Swimming

Weekly swimming practice in a zero-depth, Olympic-sized indoor pool with an accessible chair lift for pool entry and exit. Open to swimmers of all experience levels.

Where: Fosco Park
When: Tuesdays from 7-7:45 p.m.

Starting October 24

Racing Chair & Cycling Practice

Coached workouts for athletes who want to train indoors on a wheelchair racing roller or upright stationary bike. Open to all ages.

Where: Jesse White Community Center
When: Mondays from 6-7 p.m.


Virtual Programs

Starting October 18

Virtual Strength Training

Virtual functional strength training open to athletes and volunteers across the world. Held in conjunction with in-person Functional Strength Training.

Where: Online/Zoom
When: Tuesdays & Thursdays from 6-6:30 p.m.

New Time Starting October 18

Virtual Cycling

Virtual cycling practice featuring structured workouts based on rate of perceived effort.

Where: Online/Zoom
When: Mondays from 7-7:45 a.m.
