This summer, Dare2tri is heading down South.
The Chicago-based adaptive sports organization and the Ozark Outdoor Foundation have partnered to host a new paratriathlon camp from June 9 to June 12 in the Bentonville, Arkansas area. Akin to Dare2tri’s Learn2Tri Camp, the OZ Paratriathlon Camp is designed for individuals who have physical disabilities and visual impairments with little to no experience with triathlon.
During the camp, participants will learn the basic skills of paratriathlon, including swimming, cycling, running/pushing, transition, and recovery. At the conclusion of camp, athletes will their skills to the test during the Tri It Triathlon, a DIY-style race hosted by Dare2tri.
Participants will also enjoy the area’s most popular local attractions, including the Crystal Bridges Museum, Bike Rack Brewery, and McClard’s BBQ.
Camp registration is underway as of Thursday, April 14.
