Spring in Chicago means one thing around here: it’s time to Start the Season.
Each year, Dare2tri kicks off the triathlon season with a party-meets-fundraiser at Midwest Coast Brewing, bringing together athletes, friends, families, and neighbors for a laid-back, feel-good celebration. Whether you’re a runner, a walker, a beer lover, or just here for the vibes, this event is for you.

Start the Season is more than a great day at the brewery. It’s a “fun-raiser” that helps power the year ahead.
Our goal is to raise $25,000 to support Dare2tri athletes with physical disabilities and visual impairments by offsetting the cost of paratriathlon camps, adaptive equipment, race entry fees, and travel during the 2026 season and beyond.
Whether you run, walk, grab a beer, or buy a raffle ticket, you’re helping make sport more accessible — and kicking off the season the Dare2tri way.
