Six members of the Dare2tri Elite Team returned to the racecourse Sunday at the Sarasota-Bradenton Triathlon, an invitational race held at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida. The season-opening race included all-around strong performances, including gold-medal finishes from Kelly Worrell (PTS4) and Howie Sanborn (PTWC).
All competitors covered a 750-meter swim, 20-kilometer bike and 5-kilometer run. COVID-19 safety measures were implemented in accordance with USA Triathlon’s Safe Return to Multisport guidelines, including face coverings at all times except when actively racing and increased cleaning and disinfecting practices onsite.
