Twenty Dare2tri Athletes Headed to Long Beach for Toyota Legacy Triathlon

Twenty Dare2tri athletes will compete this weekend at the 2022 Toyota Legacy Triathlon in Long Beach, California. This exciting weekend of racing includes the Toyota USA Paratriathlon National Championships, featuring the country’s best paratriathletes vying for national titles and a professional prize purse of $36,750.

Fifteen Dare2tri athletes will face off Sunday during the Paratriathlon National Championships while five additional Dare2tri athletes will race Saturday in the Legacy Triathlon PC (Physically Challenged) Open Division.

Competitors will race a 750m swim, 20-kilometer bike, and 5k run course along Alamitos Beach, the proposed site of the triathlon competitions for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Los Angeles 2028.
