Paratriathlon Training Camps Cancelled Due to COVID-19

Earlier this week, we made the difficult decision to cancel all paratriathlon training camps scheduled in June and July: Injured Military Camp, Learn2Tri Camp, Train2Race Camp, and Kids Tri Camp. The health and safety of our community is our highest priority. We must continue following local and federal health recommendations to ensure every athlete, volunteer, coach, and staff member remains safe during this time.

Although we are deeply saddened to cancel these camps, we look forward to staying connected with the Dare2tri community via virtual training. Right now, we are offering training opportunities four days a week, sometimes more. Athletes with and without disabilities are joining in to move together. As a community, we’re staying active and getting stronger — one day at a time.

Our friends at Leon’s Triathlon have cancelled their in-person race scheduled for June 7. Instead, they will host Leon’s Mom’s Virtual Duathlon and Fun Run with Dare2tri as the featured charity. We hope you can join in! Leon’s Triathlon continues to be an amazing advocate for Dare2tri, veterans, and adaptive athletes everywhere. We are truly grateful for their ongoing support.

In the coming weeks, we will continue monitoring the restrictions of COVID-19. While the future remains unpredictable, we hope to offer additional programmatic opportunities later in the summer. Stay tuned for more information.
