Since 2013, Dare2tri has propelled adaptive athletes from promising newcomers to world-class competitors. Our Teams provide the structure, coaching, and community to help athletes reach their full potential, whether that means earning a national title, representing Team USA, or achieving a personal best.
Athletes receive grant funding, mentorship, and race-day support, along with opportunities to train at premier U.S. Paralympic facilities. Through this year-round program, they gain the tools, confidence, and camaraderie to compete at the highest level and move from potential to podium.
Team Qualifications
The Elite Team is invite-only, extended to athletes who have been active in Dare2tri programming during the prior season. Team members must:
- Be classified or classifiable under World Triathlon paratriathlon rules
- Use equipment that meets World Triathlon competition regulations
- Have independently completed a sprint-distance triathlon (with the exception of sighted guides)
- Have participated in a Dare2tri Train2Race Camp within the past year or be a returning team member
Coming in 2026: Dare2tri Club Team
Launching in 2026, the Dare2tri Club Team will welcome athletes of all experience levels who want to race as part of an inclusive community, representing Dare2tri in triathlons, cycling, running, and other endurance events.
