The end of the year — holidays, especially — can leave you feeling overwhelmed. To help you minimize holiday stress and anxiety, Dare2tri has created a virtual Holiday Health Series, presented by Columbia Threadneedle Investments.

For this weekly series, we’ve enlisted various experts and instructors who will teach you how to manage your mental health and practice self-care as the holidays approach. There’s no better gift you can give yourself! You’ll leave each session with tips, resources and best practices that will keep you feeling healthier and refreshed during your day-to-day.

This is a virtual health and wellness series held via Zoom. It’s free to join — so register today! Sessions will be held every Monday starting at 6 p.m. (CST), from November 9 through December 7. Each session will be between 45 and 60 minutes long.

Mental Health Discussion
Led by Hope for the Day

Hope for the Day is non-profit movement empowering the conversation on proactive suicide prevention and mental health education. Led by their mantra, IT’S OK NOT TO BE OK, they specialize in providing tools and treatments to respond, treat and manage mental health issues.


Monday, November 16
Yoga
Led by Instructor Josh Sauvageau

Josh is a yoga instructor, veteran, and triathlete. He will lead a yoga session that will help you center yourself, relax, and unwind.


Monday, November 23
Breathwork
Led by Coach Dan Tun

Dare2tri Co-Founder and Program Director Dan Tun is a coach, XPT certified instructor, runner, and triathlete. He will lead a guided breathwork session and help harness the power of the breath to influence the mind, enhance fitness, control stress and emotional states, and improve health and performance.

Mediation & Mindfulness
Led by Instructor Kelly Maher

Kelly is life coach, meditation teacher, and acupuncturist who specializes in athletic performance. Her mission is to help people realize their self-worth and find their freedom so they can experience peace, joy and a sense of calm.


Monday, December 7
Positive Self-Talk & Mantras
Led by Instructor Kelsea Offner

Kelsea is a clinical counselor and sport psychology consultant. She has an M.A. in Counseling and a specialization in Sport and Health Psychology with a focus on athletes who have experienced minor and major injuries. Through the use of a strengths-based approach, Kelsea will lead the group to utilize these skills to overcome current barriers and future obstacles.
